Sliding Scale Policy

At Blooming Rose Reiki, we believe wellbeing should not be reserved only for people who can comfortably afford it. While running a sustainable practice means charging rates that allow this work to continue, we also recognize that financial access is not experienced equally. Systemic barriers, disability, caregiving responsibilities, underemployment, discrimination and unexpected life circumstances can all affect someone's ability to invest in their wellbeing. For that reason, a limited number of sliding scale appointments are available each month.

How it works

If cost is the primary thing preventing you from booking, you're welcome to reach out before scheduling. There is:

• no application process

• no proof of income

• no explanation required beyond what you're comfortable sharing

Simply send a message through the contact form or email hello@bloomingrosereiki.com with what feels financially manageable for you right now. If I have capacity, I'll do my best to find a fee that works for both of us. Every conversation is private, confidential and approached without judgement.

A shared agreement

Sliding scale appointments are built on trust. If you're able to comfortably pay the standard rate, choosing to do so helps make lower-cost appointments available for members of our community who genuinely need them. Likewise, if your financial circumstances change in the future, you're always welcome to return to the standard rate whenever it becomes possible.

Availability

Sliding scale spaces are intentionally limited so that Blooming Rose Reiki can remain financially sustainable while continuing to expand equitable access over time. If no sliding scale appointments are currently available, you're welcome to join a waitlist or ask about future availability.

Blooming Rose Reiki is committed to reducing barriers to care wherever reasonably possible. Sliding scale pricing is one part of that commitment, alongside our trauma-informed approach, consent-led practice, neurodivergent inclusion, 2SLGBTQIA+ affirming care and ongoing community giving. Every person who walks through our door receives the same time, care and respect regardless of the rate they pay.
